“We had a few companies come in and quote what we thought our job was. Kyle was the only person who actually took the time to understand what we were trying to do and offered us a better, and more cost effective solution to achieve our goals where the other companies just quoted us on what we thought we needed. In the end our project included the following: 1x NEMA 14-50 Plug ran from the basement electrical panel to the garage. 1x Panel upgrade from 100A -> 200A (along with service upgrade to match). Merging our previous 100A main + 60A sub panel into a single unit that was no longer overloaded from the previous owner. 1x disconnect of our hot tub that had broken down and we were planning to remove (not replace) the rough in remains should we ever desire a new hot tub 1x 2-way switch install (a mid-project add, on a whim) In our case he even managed to snake the line from the garage to our basement panel behind the finished walls and through the ceiling where other companies had said they'd have to cut holes to do the same job, so there was no extra dry wall patching for me to do when the job was completed! I could write all day long, and google would probably let me; but I'll cut to the chase: Suffice to say his professionalism, thoughtfulness, attention to detail, care, speed to complete, and positive personality were all clearly present while he worked on our house. We will definitely be hiring Kyle again.”

“If you are looking for an honest, competent electrician give Kyle at KV Bear a call. I needed to connect new pool equipment at our house, requiring an upgrade to our electrical service. Kyle replaced the main electrical panel, coordinated with the hydro company to hookup the new service, ran an underground cable to the garage where he installed a new sub-panel, and connected all the new pool equipment (next to the garage). Not a small job. The thing that impressed me was how thorough Kyle is. He does not cut corners. He is very neat both in terms keeping the work area clean, and the actual work itself (eg. clean cable runs, proper connection, all the wires secured). He even pointed out electrical issues with the pool "bonding" (ground) wire installed by other contractors so I could take corrective action and avoid potential future problems. He explained the whole job before starting, and suggested things to consider. For example, for the new garage sub-panel he ran a cable that was sufficient for all the new equipment needs, as well as enough power left over if I wanted to install a fast EV charger in the future. Not something that I needed right now, but "future proofed" the work with only a small incremental cost (heavier underground cable). It will save me a bunch of hassles in the future. He provided a clear estimate of the work up front, with fair and transparent pricing. I would 100% recommend Kyle and KV Bear for your electrical needs. He is now my "go-to" guy for anything electrical.”
